Jimmy Parker: Updates

Hi fans....my new single release is out to internet radio stations and its getting played. The song, "Take Me Back," was released on Wednesday, January, 25th and is getting really good response. It will soon be submitted for the Independent Music Network Country Charts in Los Angeles, Ca. for chart action. We are proud that the single release, "Daddy," has been in the country charts for 24 weeks, reaching #1 three times.
Plans are also in the works with a video production on "Take Me Back." Please check the song out on the music page if you haven't already heard it.

Jimmy's recording of the song, "Daddy," written by Lorn Wolf, won the Country Single of the Year last night on the Independent Music Network Awards Show that was held in Los Angeles, California. This is a great feat and so many fans have been submitting their thanks and congratulations to Jimmy. Thanks goes out to all the fans who have supported this song and also Jimmy's music. The greatest fans in the world.

Jimmy's single release of "Daddy" which is on Heart2Heart Records has returned to the #1 spot on the IMN Country Charts based out of Los Angeles, Ca. This is the third time the song has reached #1 in the 22 weeks it has been out. On August 9th, 2011 it debuted at #1 on the charts and has been in the top ten all but two weeks since. Marking the third time to #1 is a historical moment for the song and for Jimmy. Quite a feat to reach the top three times with one song. "Daddy" is truly a great song that was written by my friend from Canada, Lorn Wolf. It has been in the top 10 list since we released it to IMN in July. Thats 12 straight weeks. We anticipate the song to remain there awhile longer (hopefully) as many listeners are still discovering this song. The video is still climbing up in views on YouTube also. Hi Everyone. I hope you are staying cool in all this heat we are going through. I love summer but the humidity that comes with it is the bummer.
However, we are steadily making progress with the music end of things. My new CD, "American Country Singer," is still selling and doing well. The song, "I've Been Good (I've Been Bad)," reached number 6 on the Independent Music Network country charts. I was extremely happy with that.
Lately we are working on a new video on the newest release I have called, "Daddy." This is a heart tugging, emotional, and touching song. We are going to submit it to the charts soon and I predict we may get higher than number 6 on the charts with this one. We'll see. Its already being played on many internet radio stations.

Thanks to all of you who have purchased my new cd album, American Country Singer. I am still getting orders for it and had to reorder some more copies to keep up. Many of you are responding in good messages to this cd. Most of you all know I love my country music and songs that are written from the heart and soul. My latest song I have recorded is just that, a great great song, very well-written by songwriter, Lorn Wolf, called "Daddy." Lorn, also a great singer himself and a book author, is from Alberta, Canada.
I am getting many many responses on this song, especially since it is coming out close to Father's Day. This song has so much meaning to me and I poured my heart and soul into it. It may not be out there on the mainstream charts, but one thing you gotta say, I hang in there and give it all I got. I love the fans who have come aboard and who now support my music and thats what its all about. Thank you all so much for your loyal support and friendships. I have the best fans in the world. Well, with another wonderful holiday behind us, it is time to get back to work. Last night, (1/12/11) Jimmy had a great interview on Hooah Radio with DJ Bette. The chat room abuzz and had so many fans and friends chatting away. It was one of the largest crowds in Hooah Radio's chat room ever.
Jimmy's new CD, American Country Singer, is now out and available. WEll, fans it looks like January will be the next cd release for Jimmy. His new album is nearly completed and it has some great songs that you are sure to enjoy. This cd is surely to be one of Jimmy's best and his newest song he wrote with JT Hollis, RC O'Leary and John Lott will be on this cd. Hi everyone. Just letting you know that my new release, Til Each Tear Becomes a Rose, is now up and you can listen to a clip of the song. It is a duet I recorded with a California lady, Desiree' Blevins. She has a magical voice and it came out so good. We both are proud of it and hope you will like it. Hey Everyone...
Here are somethings ocurring for me at the present time...some updates for you.

First I have a brand new song I have recorded that will be released to radio on Friday, June 4th. It is called "Prince Charming" and I am so proud of this song. It was written by a great writer/friend from Ontario, Canada and he gave me the go ahead to record it. If you would like to hear it, go to my myspace page and it is the first one on the player. Please leave a comment for me if you are a myspace member or email me back and let me know what you think of the song. It has been playing hot on myspace. I am anxious to see how it will do on radio.

Second, I have two radio interviews I will be doing this weekend. On Saturday, June 5th, I will be interviewed by DJ Trinity Lane on www.crbn.fm This is a great station and my song, A Soldier is Worth it To Me, has been a number one song request on this station since I released it in October. DJ Trinity, a great artist herself, will ask me some questions about my life and music and will be playing several of my songs. I doubt if she will have the new one ready by the interview but it may be. Please stop in to listen. The time is 4:30pm and I believe that is central time...those of you on the East coast you may want to check at 4:30 your time just in case.

I also will be interviewed on Sunday night, June 6th, at 10:00pm, by DJ Destiny on www.norulzradio.com This is a great station with a lot of lively DJs and tons of music of all varieties. They just picked up my music and have begun playing me on their station and for that I am grateful. So, please stop in to listen and get in on the chat line with them...its a lot of fun.

Lastly, I will be filming a video this month on the song, A Soldier is Worth it To Me. I am so excited with this endeavor. Nossi College of the Arts will be producing the video for me and this is like a dream come true. I am so grateful to this institution and I am sure it will be a great video as we will have some uniformed individuals partcipating in the video.

With the release of the new recording by Jimmy, "Until We''re Both Out of My Mind," his popularity is increasing around the world. This Nashville Recording Artist seems to always come up with yet another great song. He always seems to improve with each one he sings. The newest release, which was written by Doug Dejoe and Tony Haselden, has been picked up by over 60 radio stations world wide. All of those stations play jimmys music in their rotation and most have emailed Jimmy to let him know that he is one of their most popular artists they play. Traditional country music is still alive and Jimmy is the real deal when it comes to singing a great country song. If you haven't heard any of the newer songs Jimmy has recorded go to the music page on this site and take a listen to some of his clips. We are sure you will like what you hear.
By the way, the song, "A Soldier is Worth it To Me," is still playing in a steady rotation on a lot of those 60 stations. There also, may be some great news coming out about this song in the next couple of months. So, hang in there with us. When it comes to Jimmy Parker, anything can happen. Hi, I just want everyone who visits to know that I am being interviewed March 28th, 2010 on www.hooahradio.com by the great DJ Bette. Her show starts at 6pm eastern time and will run until 8pm est. She will start my interview soon after she opens her show. If you have not visited Hooahradio, you are in for a treat. It is the original veteran owned radio station based out of Colorado. They have great djs who donate their time in support of all of our veterans and troops now serving. Support the troops and visit Hooah radio and tell them I sent you. They also have a chat line you can sign up and join in while the shows are going on. Most of the time the dj and their fans are usually in the chat room and newcomers are always welcome. So, I hope you will visit and I also hope you will be there on the 28th, listening to Bette's interview of me. It will be a lot of fun and music for all you to enjoy.

Jimmy had two great gigs in Mississippi this past weekend, Feb 12th and 13th. He performed at the Isle of Capri Casino. There were packed houses for both shows and Jimmy also sold several cds. He is really building up his fan base and his music is really getting to be popular. People still love the traditional sound and Jimmy is keeping it alive and well.
